They are not based on catalogue values but on current dealer and auction listings. The reason for this is that catalogues tend to over-value stamps.
They are average prices. The actual value of your stamp may be slightly above or below the listed value, depending on the overall condition of your stamp. Use these prices as a guide to determine the approximate value of your stamps.

To commemorate the 100-year anniversary of golf in Canada, five new stamps will be issued on June 6, 1995. This year marks the centennial of both the Royal Canadian Golf Association (RCGA) and the Canadian Amateur Championship. The five different stamp designs in the 10-stamp booklet feature some of Canada's oldest and most prestigious golf courses, as well as Canadians who have made significant contributions to the game. The Royal Montreal Golf Club is credited with several firsts: being the oldest on the continent (1873); being the first to receive "Royal" prefix (1884); being the first to import an English golf professional (William Davis in 1881); being the first in North America to allow women members (1891); and being the first to play host to the Canadian Open in 1904.
