They are not based on catalogue values but on current dealer and auction listings. The reason for this is that catalogues tend to over-value stamps.
They are average prices. The actual value of your stamp may be slightly above or below the listed value, depending on the overall condition of your stamp. Use these prices as a guide to determine the approximate value of your stamps.

To commemorate the 100-year anniversary of golf in Canada, five new stamps will be issued on June 6, 1995. This year marks the centennial of both the Royal Canadian Golf Association (RCGA) and the Canadian Amateur Championship. The five different stamp designs in the 10-stamp booklet feature some of Canada's oldest and most prestigious golf courses, as well as Canadians who have made significant contributions to the game. Located in Banff National Park, the golf club is part of Alberta's Banff Springs Hotel built by Canadian Pacific in 1888. To replace the original makeshift course, the CPR contracted the design services of Stanley Thompson, to create an 18-hole layout superior to those of other North American resorts. Opening in 1929, the 18-hole course was complemented with the addition of an adjoining nine holes designed by Bill Robinson. It opened in 1989, completing this 27-hole championship layout.
